Traditional Balsamic Vinegar DOP uses a color labeling system to indicate the age: a red cap to correspond to 12 years, a silver cap to correspond to 12 to 25 years, and a gold cap to correspond to 20 - 25 years and up.
Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia DOP is made with 100% Cooked Grape Must from Trebbiano, Lambrusco, Ancellotta, Sauvignon, Sgavetta, Berzemino, Occhio di Gatta, only grown in the province of Reggio Emilia.
Each bottle is packaged in an attractive box, individually numbered, and includes a booklet explaining the process and history of balsamic vinegar in the true tradition.
